Tug Spotting - Salty Paws 37VT66
Excerpt from Dave and Bobbie Forsman, owners of Liberty a of a 40' Pilgrim.
http://pilgrim-trawlers.wikidot.com/hull-43
"Bob and Jeanne recently purchased the LNVT 37 Knock Off, now named Salty Paws. They are keeping the boat in the marina next door to the yacht club and stopped over to tour Liberty and chat about boats. We traded them some wine, cheese and crackers for some crumb cake from Mueller's Bakery. We figure if we talk to enough LNVT people we might generate enough votes for them let us into their organization."
[Over the years Dave and Bobbie have come to know several LNVT owners and their tugs. In 2015 they even attended the East Coast LNVT Rendezvous to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones. We think have definitely earned an honorary LNVT membership.]

Hurricane Matthew--Ready?
The following is from John Mackie, John William 37VT68, Oct 6 2016, 4pm.
Storms moving in with heavy rain right now.
Beefed up the dock, buried 2 20 lb anchors in yard. Put out 40 lb Danforth 200 feet off bow and 20 lb one off the stern plus a bow line to neighbors oak tree. House is secured and hopefully ready. Biggest worry is water levels being higher than normal and the surge. Hopefully we are high enough but water is rising with wind. It came up 6" in last hour. Will keep you posted if we have cell service.
