Another Difference--Cummins Engine Mount
The earlier LNVTs that came with Cummins engines use a three point engine mount. At some point during LNVT production this was replaced with a four point mount. The three point mount differs from the four point in that it attaches to the front of the engine in a single point. From this single attachment point two steel legs descend to and are attached to the port and starboard engine beds. The single point attachment makes aligning the engine to the prop shaft easier.
